On the 28th of September, the Center Science and Innovation for Development (SCiDEV) will organize the final public event of the Thematic Working Group on “Advancing Inclusive Regional Mobility and Catalyzing Mobility-Driven Innovation and Knowledge Transfer in Western Balkans”, part of Tirana CSF 2023.
This TWG is implemented by the Center Science and Innovation for Development (SCiDEV), Albania, and explores the potential of inclusive regional mobility in fostering regional cooperation and the creation of shared values in the Western Balkans and with the EU, as well as in catalyzing innovation through knowledge and technology exchange, research and development collaborations, and entrepreneurial networks.
To present and discuss the findings derived from the TWG consultations, desk research, and position paper as well as advocacy visits developed on the topic while fostering an open dialogue with the wider public, the final event will gather stakeholders, governmental representatives, civil society organizations and experts, to discuss and validate concrete recommendations for policymakers ahead of the 2023 CSF and the Leader’s Summit of the Berlin Process.
This event will take place September 28th, 2023, starting from 10:00 a.m., at Rogner Hotel Tirana.

CSF 2023 is organized by the Open Society Foundations - Western Balkans (OSFWB), mandated by the Government of Albania as the current holder of the Presidency of the Berlin Process, in collaboration with the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and with the Cooperation and Development Institute (CDI).
